I'm a full time travel creator from Perth, Western Australia. At the end of 2024, my partner Daniel and I left home to travel the world while working remotely. We'd been together 10 years before we finally made the leap on a dream we'd held onto for so long.
"We sold everything. Our cars, furniture, even my entire makeup kit after 11 years as a MUA. We said goodbye to our loved ones and left just before NYE for the adventure of a lifetime."
Since then we've travelled to over 27 countries in our first year, 47 in total so far, lived in wildly different cultures, and made the kind of connections you can't plan for. Somewhere along the way I realised the guides I really wanted didn't exist: not glossy brochures or 40 open browser tabs, but the actual route a friend would send you.
